
The Waterbury Police Department is actively investigating an untimely death on West Liberty Street.
Officers were dispatched to an apartment on West Liberty Street at 10:07 a.m. on Wednesday for the report on an unresponsive male, according to Sergeant Joseph Morais.
When they arrived, officers found an unresponsive 61-year-old man who was later pronounced dead, Morais said.
Morais said the “investigation into the details surrounding an untimely death” is active and ongoing.
