Mostly sunny skies persist through Sunday as temperatures warm into the 80s for much of the state. Westerly winds could gust up to 25 miles per hour through the day.

High temperatures will be in the 80s again for Monday before lifting into the 90s on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Humidity will also increase on Tuesday and Wednesday, so we could see a slight heat index for inland areas.
Showers and thunderstorms are possible by Wednesday afternoon and evening, and this system will cool temperatures into the 60s and 70s by Thursday.
Slightly below average temperatures are expected to continue through Memorial Day weekend.
