New Haven police investigate two stabbings Saturday night
New Haven police say a 21-year-old woman walked into Yale New Haven Hospital with stab wounds Saturday night.
Officers were called to the hospital after receiving reports of a walk-in gunshot victim police say.
Police later confirmed that the victim suffered from stab wounds after an altercation on Downing Street near Del Rio Drive.
According to police, her injuries were serious but not life-threatening.
The police say they were also dispatched to the intersection of Whitney Avenue and Trumbull Street for another stabbing.
They say the 48-year-old male was involved in an altercation at a bar on Winchester Avenue.
His injuries were not life-threatening according to police.
Police say the investigation remains active.
