Netflix raises prices for all plans. Here's how much your subscription costs now

Netflix raises prices for all plans. Here's how much your subscription costs now

The cost to watch “K-Pop Demon Hunters,” “Bridgerton” and “One Piece” is going up again.

Netflix adjusted its price structure on Thursday, with all subscription tiers rising at least $1.

Here’s a breakdown of the rising prices by tier:

Tier Former cost New cost
Ad-supported plan $7.99 $8.99
Standard plan $17.99 $19.99
Premium plan $24.99 $26.99

The price for extra members also went up. It will now cost $6.99 per month (previously $5.99) for each non-household member on ad-supported plans and $9.99 per month (previously $8.99) for non-household members on standard and premium plans.

The changes mark Netflix’s first price hike since January 2025.

The streaming giant has tested new ventures in 2026, including video podcasts and more live events, such as MLB’s Opening Night between the New York Yankees and San Francisco Giants. The company said it will continue expanding its content output and expects to spend $20 billion on content in 2026, an increase from $18 billion last year.

Netflix had more than 325 million subscribers globally as of late 2025, making it one of the world’s biggest streaming platforms.

The company was up against Warner Bros. in a showdown to acquire Paramount, but it ultimately did not match the winning $110 billion offer from Warner Bros. in February.
