An Enfield man was killed in a crash on Interstate 91 in Windsor in the early morning hours on Sunday, Connecticut State Police said.
David Csaszar, 35, was driving a Chevrolet Malibu on I-91 North near Exit 37 around 3:41 a.m. when he left the roadway and collided with the guardrail on the right shoulder. He then crossed all three lanes and hit the median before his car rolled over onto its side in the center lane, according to state police.
Another car, an Infiniti G35, then crashed into Csaszar’s rolled-over Malibu while it was in the center lane, state police said.
Csaszar was pronounced dead on the scene.
Police said they do not know what caused Csaszar to leave the roadway, and the crash remains under investigation.
Anyone who may have witnessed it or anyone who has a dashcam and was driving through the area at the time is asked to email Trooper First Class John Wilson at john.wilson@ct.gov.
