Man assaulted, stabbed and robbed near gas station in Hartford: police
An investigation is underway after police said a man was assaulted by a group of people, stabbed and robbed near a gas station in Hartford early Saturday morning.
Officers responded to Hartford Hospital around 5:10 a.m. for a report of a walk-in stabbing victim.
Authorities said a man was near the Gulf gas station in Franklin Avenue when he was surrounded by five to six men and assaulted.
During the assault, the man was stabbed in his arm and hand, police added. His iPhone 13 was also reportedly taken.
The man is listed in serious, but stable condition.
The investigation is active and ongoing.
