
Hartford police are investigating an overnight shooting that left two people injured, including a 17-year-old.
According to police, officers were in the area of Ann Uccello Street around 1:49 a.m. Sunday when they heard gunfire. Officers immediately responded and found an unresponsive gunshot victim at the scene.
The victim, identified as a 17-year-old male, was taken to a local hospital, where he is listed in extremely critical condition.
While officers were still on scene, a second gunshot victim — a man in his twenties — arrived at a local hospital by private vehicle. He was listed in critical but stable condition.
The Hartford Police Department’s Major Crimes Division and Crime Scene Division responded and have taken over the investigation.
Police have not released additional details about what led up to the shooting. The investigation remains ongoing.
