Beginning in April, CollectUconn is making items from its Gampel collection available for purchase at Evergreen Walk.
Items in the collection feature memorabilia created from materials removed from the University of Connecticut’s historic arena.
Since opening in 1990, Gampel has served as the homecourt for 18 combined national championships across UConn’s men’s and women’s programs.
As Gampel is undergoing renovations, select items from the venue will be transformed into collectibles, allowing UConn fans to own a piece of that legacy.
“Bringing The Gampel Collection to The Shops at Evergreen Walk is an incredibly exciting moment for us,” said Connor Nolan, vice president of leasing at Brand Street Properties, owner of The Shops at Evergreen Walk.
A portion of proceeds from The Gampel Collection will directly support the mission of UConn Athletics.
“Every piece in this collection tells a story, and giving fans the opportunity to own a part of that history is incredibly special,” said Chris Grosse, UConn senior associate athletic director for External Strategy.
