
A 21-year-old man has died after a dirt bike crash near a span of train tracks in Waterbury on Sunday evening, police said.
Police said they were called to a span of train tracks off of Yale Street after they received a report of a serious one-vehicle crash involving a dirt bike.
When they arrived, they found 21-year-old Jose Eduardo of Carmel, NY lying on the ground beside the bike, according to police.
Eduardo was pronounced dead on the scene, police said.
An investigation revealed that Eduardo was riding his dirt bike on the train tracks when he lost control and collided with a concrete wall, according to police.
