New Haven man dead after Saturday morning crash
New Haven police say a 34-year-old New Haven resident is dead after an early morning crash on State Street.
They say police were dispatched to the 600 block of State Street where officers found a three-wheeled motorcycle crashed into the gate of a building with a male under it.
“The initial investigation showed the motorcycle was traveling south on State Street prior to the crash, which might have happened several hours earlier. No other vehicle is believed to be involved,” police said.
The Crash Reconstruction Unit responded and took over the investigation.
