2 injured in Bridgeport shooting
Two people are injured after an early morning shooting in Bridgeport on Saturday.
Officers were called to the 600 block of Beechwood Avenue around 1:10 a.m. for multiple ShotSpotter activations.
When police arrived, they said they found one person with a gunshot wound. That person was transported to St. Vincent’s Hospital to be treated for their injuries.
According to police, a second person with a gunshot wound was transported to Bridgeport Hospital by a private vehicle.
The shooting is under investigation and no arrests have been made.
