2 teens taken to hospital following Harwinton crash
Two teenagers were taken to the hospital following a crash in Harwinton early Saturday morning.
State police said a 19-year-old female from Bristol was driving north on Route 72 shortly before 3 a.m. when she hit the guardrail and then multiple trees in the shoulder.
She was transported to Waterbury Hospital to be treated for minor injuries.
Her passenger, a 17-year-old female from Bristol, suffered severe, but non-life threatening injuries in the crash, according to troopers. She was transported to Waterbury Hospital for treatment.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
