
A woman is dead and a man is injured after a motorcycle crash on Interstate 384 East in Manchester late Friday night.
State police said a 22-year-old man from Manchester was driving a motorcycle on I-384 East around 11:20 p.m. when he hit the back of a Chevrolet Equinox that was in front of him.
After the crash, investigators said the man and his passenger, later identified as 21-year-old Sariah Isabelle Miranda, of Manchester, were both separated from the motorcycle.
As they were sliding on the highway, authorities said Miranda was hit by another vehicle.
Both the man and Miranda were transported to the hospital by a third party vehicle. The man’s injuries were described as minor while Miranda’s were described as serious.
Miranda was later pronounced dead.
No other injuries were reported.
