There are a few leftover showers and high winds early Tuesday, but things are starting to relax.
The wind was powerful overnight, causing tens of thousands of power outages. A wind advisory is still in effect until 8 a.m., and winds will remain noticeable throughout the day, though not as strong as Monday night.
It will be partly sunny by this afternoon. Highs are in the lower 40s, though it may feel like the 30s due to the wind.

There is a flood warning around the Housatonic River due to the rainfall on Monday.
The highest wind gusts on Tuesday will be about 25 miles per hour — a big difference from the last 24 hours, where gusts as high as 60 mph were felt.
Temperatures will stay fair throughout Tuesday night and into Wednesday, although Wednesday will be a little cooler, with lows in the teens and 20s and highs in the upper 30s.
