Waterbury police say man walked into a hospital with non-lethal gunshot wounds

An 18-year-old Waterbury man walked into a local hospital with two gunshot wounds Friday night, police say.

According to police, officers were notified yesterday at 9:30 p.m. that the victim checked himself into the hospital and sustained two on-life-threatening wounds.

Police say he is in stable condition and are actively investigating the scene.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Waterbury Police Detective Bureau at 203-574-6941 or call the anonymous Crime Stoppers tip line at 203-755-1234.
