
Waterbury police arrested a 28-year-old man after a hit-and-run on Friday night.
Police say they were dispatched to Meadow Street and West Main Street at 7:47 p.m. where they found a 28-year-old victim with serious injuries.
According to police, the victim had serious, non-life-threatening injuries and is in stable conditions.
The department’s Crash Reconstruction Unit took over, where they found the suspected driver and arrested 28-year-old Christhian Vega.
According to police, Vega was charged with evading responsibility and is being held on a $30,000 bond.
They say he is set to appear in court March 9 at 9 a.m.
