Water main break disrupting service for some in Waterbury

A water main break in Waterbury is disrupting water service to some homes and businesses, according the mayor’s office.

It happened on Chase Parkway. Crews are excavating the roadway and evaluating the break.

The city said it hoped repairs would be completed in four to six hours.

Homes and businesses in the area are either experiencing a temporary loss of water or low water pressure, the mayor’s office said.
