UConn football unveils new red alternate uniforms for 2026 season
UConn football is adding a new color to its wardrobe this season.
The Huskies unveiled new red alternate uniforms in a hype video on Instagram Wednesday, giving fans their first full look at the new color combination.
The caption on the video was “All you see. Is Red!”
The team also posted a photo of fifth year defensive back Jayden Davis wearing the new uniform with the caption “RED RED RED.”
The Huskies open the 2026 season against Lafayette on Saturday, Sept. 5, at Pratt & Whitney Stadium at Rentschler Field in East Hartford.
UConn has not yet announced when the team will wear the new red uniforms.
