Two people dead after a head-on collision in Chaplin

State police say two people are dead in Chaplin after a late night accident on Friday involving two cars.

They say that troopers were dispatched to 17 Willimantic Road when they found one of the drivers out their vehicle with injuries.

According to police, both passengers in the vehicles were also found dead on scene with the other driver also having serious injuries.

This is still being investigated, and any witnesses are encouraged to contact Troop D in Danielson.
