Ten people displaced after fire in Bridgeport

Seven adults and three children are displaced after a fire in Bridgeport on Sunday afternoon.

At around 2:50 p.m. the Bridgeport Fire Department responded to a report of a structure fire on Bunnell Street.

Upon arrival, crews located a fire in the walls and was able to put it under control in 15 minutes.

There were no reported injuries.

The American Red Cross is assisting those who were displaced.

The Bridgeport Fire Marshal’s office is investigating the fire.
