Six hospitalized after a vehicle accident in Farmington

Teen bicyclist hospitalized after being struck by a vehicle in Farmington

A 13-year-old boy is hospitalized with serious injuries after being struck by a vehicle around 9 p.m. in Farmington on Sunday.

Police were called to Farmington Avenue (Route 4) at the intersection of the I-84 off-ramp for a collision involving a motor vehicle and a bicyclist operating a Class 3 E-Bike.

The bicyclist was transported to the hospital with serious injuries and is in stable condition, according to police.

The driver of the vehicle remained on scene and is cooperating with the investigation.

The North Central Municipal Accident Reconstruction Squad is assisting the Farmington Police Department with the investigation, police said.
