Sunny and 70° weather on tap today

Today will feature abundant sunshine across Connecticut. Temperatures will be cool in the morning hours, but warm during the afternoon. High temperatures will rise to near 70 degrees across much of the state. There will be a bit of a breeze this morning. No rain is expected today or tonight.

Tonight will be clear and cool. Temperatures will fall to around 40 degrees, once again. Patchy frost can’t be ruled out the next couple of mornings, though we should avoid a hard freeze.

The next few days will feature tranquil weather. Tomorrow will be partly cloudy, followed by a partly sunny day on Wednesday. Our next chance of rain will arrive late Wednesday night, lasting through Thursday. As a result, cooler weather can be expected for the second half of the week.
