Summer-like temperatures today before cooler weather returns

We have a warm day with summer-like temperatures on tap for Wednesday before cooler weather returns for the rest of the week.

Highs will be well into the 80s.

A rain shower or two could push across the state, though most places will stay dry, warm and muggy with partly sunny skies.

By Thursday, cooler air will arrive with highs in the low 70s.

More cool air arrives this weekend with chilly weather on Saturday.
