
Connecticut State Police say one person has been left in serious conditions following a three-car crash on Route 44 in Pomfret Saturday evening.
They say a car driven by Ryan Connelly crashed into the back of a stopped car after following at an unsafe distance and traveled over the yellow line on Drown Road into another car.
According to police, Connelly was transported to the hospital with serious conditions and one of the other drivers was sent to the hospital for minor injuries.
There is no more information at this time and police are still investigating the scene.
