Scattered rain showers have been pushing across Connecticut since last night. A majority of the rain is already finished, with a few isolated rain showers remaining possible for the rest of this morning.
This afternoon will turn drier and possibly slightly brighter, though the clouds will hold thick across much of the state for the daylight hours today. As a result, temperatures will stay cooler than normal, in the 50’s, about 10 degrees below average.

Tonight we have a near-full moon, and we should be able to see it pretty well. The sky will clear after today’s rain and temperatures will continue to be on the cool side.
Friday features sunshine returning, to be followed by clouds on Saturday.
The cooler than normal weather will stick around this first weekend of May, but by Tuesday of next week we expect temperatures to bounce back into the 70’s.
