
Occupants of one vehicle were sent to the hospital with possible serious injuries after a two-car crash in Southington early Sunday morning.
At around 12:39 a.m., the Southington Police Department and Southington Accident Investigation Team responded to Mount Vernon Road for a report of a two-car crash with serious physical injuries.
According to police, a Honda Civic was traveling northbound on Mount Vernon Road when it lost control and traveled into the southbound lane and collided with a Lexas sedan.
The occupants of the Honda Civic were transported to the hospital for possible serious injuries due to the collision. The occupants of the Lexus were treated on scene for minor injuries.
No further information has been released on the occupants’ conditions.
