Police make second arrest in alleged sexual abuse of dog in Meriden

Meriden police have made a second arrest connected to the alleged sexual abuse of a dog.

Authorities began an investigation on April 6 and arrested Kristiina Kennedy on April 30.

As the investigation continued, police obtained an arrest warrant for 28-year-old Damon Mesite.

He was arrested on Friday and was charged with aiding and abetting sexual assault of an animal, aiding and abetting sexual assault of an animal (creating/distributing pornography, and unlawful dissemination of an intimate image.

He was taken to court and was given a $10,000 bond.
