Police investigating after a woman was shot in Hartford

A woman is recovering after she was shot in Hartford, police said.

Hartford Police Major Crimes and Crime Scene Divisions are investigating a shooting in the area of Park Street at Park Terrace on Friday afternoon.

Police were called to a hospital in the area just after 2:30 p.m., where a woman was being treated for a single gunshot wound, police said.
