Police are investigating a death involving a barricaded person in New Haven
A death investigation involving a barricaded person is happening in New Haven Monday morning.
Connecticut State Police said the New Haven Police Department and the New Haven state’s attorney requested assistance with an “untimely death investigation,” according to state police.
It happened in the area of Chapel Street on Sunday. Members of the New Haven and North Haven Police Departments responded to the incident, state police said.
An autopsy is pending from the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner.
