
A person suffered serious burns at a worksite in Lyme on Wednesday, according to the Lyme Fire Company.
Emergency crews responded to the incident just after 8 a.m. The details surrounding what occurred were not immediately available.
A LifeStar helicopter also responded to transport the patient.
Fire officials did not specify where the worksite was, but a landing zone for LifeStar was established at Ashlawn Farm on Bill Hill Road.
The victim was flown to the Bridgeport Hospital burn unit, fire officials said.
