
A person was hospitalized with “traumatic injuries” after striking a tree near Route 61 in Morris on Sunday night, firefighters said.
The Morris Fire Company was dispatched to the area of County Road and Alain White Road at 10:09 p.m. by an automatic crash detection alert, according to firefighters.
When they arrived, they found a Jeep Wrangler with “significant front-end damage” from striking a tree on the south side of the road, firefighters said.
The driver was transported to Waterbury Hospital with traumatic injuries, according to firefighters.
