One person suffered serious injuries after a motor vehicle accident in Waterbury
One person has sustained serious injuries after being hit by a motor vehicle in Waterbury, according to the Waterbury Fire Department.
At around 8:26 p.m. on Sunday, firefighters received a call for a serious motor vehicle accident.
A person was struck by a motor vehicle in the area of East Main Street and Welton Street.
The person sustained serious injuries and was transported to the hospital.
The operator of the vehicle has stayed on scene and is cooperating with the investigation.
The Waterbury Police Department is continuing to investigate the scene.
