One person killed in I-84 crash in Manchester

A person was killed in a crash on I-84 East in Manchester in the early morning hours on Thursday, firefighters said.

“A single vehicle struck a tractor-trailer and sustained significant damage,” the Manchester Fire Department wrote in a Facebook post.

It happened around 4 a.m. Thursday. The exit 62 ramp remains closed while authorities investigate the incident, according to firefighters.

Firefighters said the driver of the vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene. No other injuries were reported.
