One man dies after third-alarm fire in Woodbridge

A man in his 70s died after a third-alarm fire in Woodbridge on Sunday.

At around 11:35 a.m., the Woodbridge Fire Department responded to a single-story ranch fire on Hallsey Lane, according to Woodbridge Fire Chief Sean Rowland.

One firefighter was injured during the fire but has been treated and released from the hospital.

The cause of the fire is unknown.

The state and local fire marshals are continuing to investigate the fire.
