One dead, another hospitalized after shooting at home in Milford

One person is dead and another person is in the hospital after a shooting in Milford around 2:56 a.m. on Wednesday.

Police received a call that there was a shooting in a home on East Broadway.

When officers arrived, they discovered two people that were shot. According to police, one person was found dead and the second person was transported to a hospital and is receiving treatment for her injuries.

Police mention the home remains an active crime scene and that the Milford police department detectives are investigating.

There are no further details available at this time.
