One dead after shooting in Hartford
One person is dead after a shooting on Monday night.
Officers responded to the area of Cabot Street around 11:18 p.m. after hearing shots fired in the area, police said.
According to police, they located an unresponsive victim in the roadway suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
The victim was identified as 37-year-old Dante Barnes was transported to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The Hartford Police Major Crimes and Crime Scene Divisions responded and assumed the investigation.
