Occupant rescued after hand gets caught in a rollover crash Saturday night

The North Stonington Fire Department says one person is in the hospital after their hand was caught under their car in a rollover crash Saturday night.

They say they reported to Wintechog Hill Road where State Police advised officials that at least one patient was entrapped.

According to officials, one occupant had their hand stuck under the vehicle.

Crews were able to stabilize and lift the car where officials say access was gained and the door was forced open to remove the patient.

They were transported to a nearby hospital for further treatment.
