Newtown police say they are searching for missing 1-year-old
The Newtown Police Department is searching for a 17-month-old girl who went missing on Tuesday night.
The child, Blue McGrath, is likely with her father, 33-year-old Brennan McGrath, of Newtown, police said. Her father has been uncooperative with police, DCF, and child custody orders from the court, according to police.
The child is described as a white female with brown hair and blue eyes, approximately 24 pounds.
Her father is described as a white male, 5’10”, blue eyes, bald with a red beard. Police said he may be driving a white Lexus or blue McLaren.
The child’s father has kept her “away from her mother for an extended period of time,” police said.
He is in violation of a temporary child custody order issued by court, and has refused to comply with the order, according to police.

Police have not provided a photo of Blue or her father, Brennan.
