New foods on the menu at the Big E this year
The Big E is right around the corner, and the festival is previewing some new food that’s on the menu this year!
“The Stack” – The Paddock
It’s four specialty burgers stacked together. It features a macaroni and cheese burger, a candied jalapeno burger, a maple bacon burger, and the local smash burger.
“Lobster Tail Hushpuppy-Style Skewer” – NOLA Cajun Kitchen & Raw Bar
It’s a Cajun lobster tail on a skewer. It gets dipped into a hushpuppy batter, given a hot honey butter drizzle, and topped with Cajun remoulade and corn salsa.
“Fried Turkey Dinner” – E.B.’s Restaurant
This is a fried ball of turkey and stuffing, drizzled with gravy and a side of cranberry sauce.
“Push-Up Sushi Pop” – K’s Japanese Restaurant
A California or spicy tuna roll sits in a tube, and you can eat it without chopsticks with a tube of soy sauce that you use to pop the sushi into your mouth.
“Cream Puff” – The Big E Bakery
The cream puff flavor of the year is peanut butter! You can also order a “fluffernutter,” which has peanut butter cream and a marshmallow topping.
