Man hit and killed by vehicle in East Hampton
A Colchester man died after being hit by a car in East Hampton on Friday.
It happened just before 3 p.m. in the parking lot of the Napa Auto Parts on High Street, according to police.
The victim, 75-year-old James Bansemer, was flown by LifeStar helicopter to the Marlborough Medical Center where he died, police said.
The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene.
