Man charged after frightening incident in Ashford apartment

An Ashford man is under arrest after an incident at an apartment in Ashford.

According to state police, a woman woke up on her couch around 2:25 p.m. on Wednesday to find a man naked and masturbating above her. She was able to shove the man out of her apartment.

The suspect was identified as a 45-year-old neighbor and was arrested. He was held on $150,000 bond and scheduled to appear in court on Thursday.
