
A woman was injured after being stabbed outside of her home in Windsor in the early hours of Tuesday morning, police said.
Officers with the Windsor Police Department were called to a home on Barry Lane around 2:15 a.m. for a report of a domestic assault with a knife. They were told a woman was stabbed by her boyfriend, according to police.
When they arrived, they found the woman with multiple lacerations. She was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
Police said that a domestic incident had happened on Monday evening in Hartford. When the woman got back to her Windsor home, her boyfriend approached and stabbed her in the driveway.
A family member heard the woman screaming and came to her aid, according to police.
