A Hamden man is facing charges after he took “inappropriate photos” of women without their knowledge, police said.
North Haven officers were called to a store on Universal Drive on Sunday in response to a report of suspicious behavior.
When they got to the store, they learned that a family believed that 33-year-old Jordan Stevens used his cellphone to take photos and videos of a female without her knowledge or consent.
As investigators looked into the incident, they conducted several interviews and looked at Stevens’ phone, which showed “numerous” photographs and videos of multiple women who were unaware they were being recorded.
Steve was arrested and charged with voyeurism with malice and breach of peace. He was held on a $10,000 bond and arraigned in Meriden Superior Court.
