The Manchester Fire Department says five people have been displaced and one has been left in critical conditions after a house fire on Bluefield Drive around 12:39 a.m.
Officials say they arrived on scene and found a fire through two windows on the first floor extending to the roof of the two-story, 12-unit apartment building.
They say all seven fire companies were moved on scene and aggressively attacked the fire inside and searched for a reported victim trapped inside.
The victim was found on the first floor in critical condition and according to officials, they were transported to a nearby trauma center after being resuscitated.
Three of the 12 apartment units sustained significant damage but officials say the building is not a complete loss.
Five have been displaced and are being helped by the Red Cross.
An investigation is ongoing to determine the cause.
