Driver charged with DUI after crashing in to 2 children, food truck in New Haven
Police have arrested a person who, they say, hit three people, two of which were children, with their truck on Memorial Day in New Haven.
It happened on the 300 block of Long Wharf Drive around 6:45. Police say that the driver also struck several parked cars and a food truck.
The person and two children all suffered minor injuries and police have not released the driver’s identity yet.
Police added that the driver was charged with DUI, along with other motor vehicle charges.
