Connecticut's Beardsley Zoo announces death of oldest howler monkey

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. (WTNH) — Connecticut’s Beardsley Zoo announced Monday the death of the oldest howler monkey living in any AZA-accredited zoo. The 34-year-old howler monkey, Cain, had called the Beardsley Zoo home since 2015. He died from age-related health complications, according to zoo officials.
