Twelve people are displaced after house fire in Hartford

Hartford Fire Department officials say twelve people have been displaced after a fire in a multifamily home around 8:30 a.m. Saturday morning.

They say crews they arrived on scene and found a working fire on the first floor that extended to the second floor.

According to officials, the fire was quickly extinguished and brought under control with no reported injuries.

The Special Services Unit and American Red Cross were on scene to help assist the three families that were displaced due to the fire.
