Clouds give way to sunshine today, unsettled pattern ahead
Happy Friday! Cloudy skies will start the day with some light rain possible during the morning hours. Conditions will improve later today as clouds gradually break, allowing for increasing sunshine this afternoon. High temperatures will top out around 60 degrees.
Looking ahead to the weekend, the overall theme will be mostly cloudy and seasonably cool. While much of the time will be dry, there is a chance for showers Saturday afternoon, especially for parts of southwest Connecticut.
The start of next week brings a short break from the rain, with dry weather expected Monday and Tuesday. Rain chances then return by Wednesday and may linger through the early part of May, signaling a more unsettled stretch ahead.
