The UConn men are leaving for Indianapolis on Wednesday as they prepare to face Illinois in the Final Four.
Fans are urged to gather at the Werth Family Basketball Champions Center on campus in Storrs at 1:15 p.m. to see the team off.
The Huskies are set to appear in their third Final Four in four years thanks to an epic comeback against Duke in the Elite Eight, capped by Braylon Mullins’ 35-foot game-winning 3-pointer with just 0.4 seconds on the clock.
Mullins’ heroics sends him back to his home state to play in the Final Four. He is from Greenfield, Indiana, which is just outside of Indianapolis.
UConn takes on the Fighting Illini on Saturday at 6:05 p.m.
If UConn can get past Illinois, they will play in the national championship game with a chance to win their third title in four years.
