Rollover crash closes part of I-84 East in Willington during morning commute
A rollover crash on I-84 East closed the right lane of the highway between Exits 71 and 72 in Willington.
A double tractor-trailer crashed and completely overturned onto its back just before midnight on Monday, and the right lane was closed until around 9 a.m. Tuesday.
Some goods from one of the trailers appeared to have fallen onto the road.
State police said the tractor-trailer also hit an SUV, but no one was injured in the crash.
Police and the Connecticut Department of Transportation asked drivers to stay to the left on I-84 East through Willington and Ashford until the scene was clear.
The right lane has since reopened.
